Privacy Policy
Last updated: 4 October 2026
CHIN-RET Global Resources Limited ("CHIN-RET", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why we collect it and how we protect it, in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA).
1. Who we are
CHIN-RET Global Resources Limited (RC 1112360) is the data controller for this website. Our head office is at Na-atikaa Blocks Complex, behind GSS Hai-Rayfield, along Dura Duu Road, Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria. You can contact us about privacy at chinretglobal@gmail.com.
2. What we collect
- Information you give us when you use our contact / quote form, call, email or message us on WhatsApp: your name, email address, phone number, project location and the details of your enquiry.
- Technical information that your browser sends automatically, such as your IP address, browser type and pages visited, which our web server records in standard logs for security.
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. A single session cookie is used to protect our contact form from spam and forgery; it is deleted when you close your browser.
3. How we use your data
- To respond to your enquiry and prepare quotations (lawful basis: your consent and steps taken before entering into a contract).
- To deliver services you have engaged us for (lawful basis: performance of a contract).
- To keep our website secure and prevent abuse (lawful basis: our legitimate interests).
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not send marketing messages without your consent.
4. Sharing your data
We only share personal data where necessary — for example with our website hosting and email providers, or with subcontractors and suppliers involved in delivering your project — and we require them to keep it secure. We may also disclose data where required by law.
5. How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a contract are kept for up to 24 months and then deleted. Project and financial records are kept for as long as required by Nigerian law.
6. Your rights
Under the NDPA you have the right to be informed, to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email chinretglobal@gmail.com. If you are not satisfied with our response you may lodge a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC).
7. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including restricted access to stored enquiries and secure handling by our staff.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be published on this page with the date it was last updated.
